| A site that proposes an approach that presents calculus as the mathematics of change in order to realize a vision of calculus as an essential part of the general education of the population and as an accessible and relevant domain of mathematics. It envisions that calculus would constitute one of the important contexts for students' learning of arithmetic, algebra, and geometry starting in the elementary grades, elaborating with examples on arithmetic and algebra. Projects from the Mathematics of Change Over Time in the Investigations in Number, Data, and Space Curriculum, Technology, Curriculum, Papers, and Schools. | |
